Layer sloping to east and in part also to south. This surface presents clear signs of a long exposition, probably also because of waters and sun action. This surface is like a crust of the ashy accumulation underneath, to the west, but to the east it is thicker and really very hard. It is composed of brown soil full of small charcoal fragments and white, perhaps gypsum, chunks. In section is clearly distinguishable from what above and below. No many sherds were recovered.
