A group of 34 large limestone blocks located along the outward face (S) of the revetment wall, f11, in k109, k108, k101, k1, and k106. They are randomly oriented and distributed in depths ranging from a few centimeters to fifty centimeters below the top of f11. Most are located in k109 and the west part of k108. Their source is problematical, although they were most likely displaced from structures located higher to the north on the BA temple mound. There were two clusters of these stones: f40, f48, f85 and f91 in k101; and f289, f290, and f291 in k108. |
