1998-7-9jW markers not yet surveyed, and due to other commitments, it may be several more days before this takes place. To preserve some of the record in case the relay markers (designated S (south) and W (west)) are accidentially displaced, made a series of reference measurements using the nearest power line pylon. To verify the relative accurcy of the relays we also measured the distance of the relay markers from the appropriate square corners. See Sketch 3 for details. [Input file: I709JLW.J / I709JLW.-J]
1998-7-13jW south marker loosened sometime after work hours in I712. No longer being used for relays. [Input file: I714JLW.J / I714JLW.-J]
1998-7-15jW bP on scene to measure relative elevations on control points "S" (designated m1869) and "W" (designated m1870). Also measured relative elevations of pins used to draw sections. jW and jL also measured the relative elevation of section pins using CP "W", string and a line level. In addition, the top of CP "S" is 10 cm below the top of CP "W" and the ground next to CP "S" is 30 cm below the top of CP "W". [Input file: I715JLW.J / I715JLW.-J]
1998-7-20jW bP and jW on site to measure distances for obtaining coordinates for markers. Also measured in NE, NW and SW corners of k1. Also measured distances to extant square corners. SW to NW is 400 cm, NW to NE is 398 cm, and SW to NE is 565 cm. [Input file: I721JLW.J / I721JLW.-J]
1998-7-21jW bP and jW on site to measure angles for obtaining angles for markers. [Input file: I721JLW.J / I721JLW.-J]
