accumulation beneath f196, f197 and f198 in the north half of k22. It is very pale brown which is in the range of both the color of the soil beneath the topsoil on this part of the tell and the color of mudbricks used in walls and platforms. It is very hard and may possibly be either a mud cement platform or a wall foundation. It has a softer pocket of the same kind of material, f294 in the center. [Input: L923JW.j] |
