Daily notes about recovery of elements 2002-09-19 lR yesterday this item was uncovered while removing the last 10cm of red material on top of the stones. We are referring to it as a pot smash since there are several sherds from the same vessel lying right on the stone pavement suggesting they were smashed. The sherds were triangulated today and we will keep them in situ for a photograph. [Input: M919LR.j]
