Overhead view of k72 and k71 before the cleaning and the beginning of the excavation in this square. As cleary visinle, k71 is partially already exacavated since it was investigated in the 2001 excavation season by a team of the university of Tubingen, directed by Prof. Peter Pfalzner (the missing portion of the square falled within the German trench T14). The photo shows the small portion of k71 left to our investigation, in the SE corner of the square; the extension of the unexcavated area to the W is given by r1. We assigne f1 to the topsoil in that corner, while f2 to the topsoil in k72. Looking N. [Input: U320SC.j] |
