After cleaning the top soil f282, a brown layer is distinguished (f291). Under it 2 new different features lay: f293, reddish and bricky accumulation in the southern quadrant of the locus; f294, a soft ashy layer in the northern part. we remove both the features and under f294 a large flat stone is found. Removed topsoil, f282, and accumlation underneath, f291. Under f291, accumlations differed north and south. To the south was a clean, reddish, bricky material, accumulation, f293. To the north was a grayish, ashy accumulation, f294. [Input: O727JW1.j] |

Cleared accumulation from a large cut stone, f296, placed horizontally just to the west of the abi entrance. Cleared accumulation, f293, from atop several courses of bricks, f302, which extend into the south baulk. [Input: O727JW2.j] |
