Description (summary) | 2004-07-21 | ap | This feature is a small part of a mud-brick wall. It is located between the first and the second apron (f131 and f132) in the gap of about 1 m in width. We noticed the presence of a few rows of mud-bricks while cleaning the column of soil below the stone f84.24. As we scraped the surface towards south from the stone we found some gray bricks in place with remains of the reddish between them. [Input: O802AP.j] |
2008-06-15 | pC | bricks under the second apron, possibly part of the coating surface of the temple mound before the building of the second apron f132: several other bricks were found in J3 above the layer of the 2nd millenium glacis (mittani): this let me hypotize that these bricks belong to the brick surface dated to the Third millenium and found in the german excavation. The elevation of these bricks is at 91.75 (from relay r854, the closest stone of the apron f131 to f89) [Input: O802AP.j] |
