Stratigraphy
Phase 7j (s160) are the middle-Mittani soil accumualtions exavated to the west of the stones of the second apron, which they undoubted also underlie. The dating has been problematical. The ceramics in most of the accumulations are predominately Late Chalcolithic with other periods mixed in. They top accumulations that have even more LC sherds, which in turn top an EDIII glacis. We hypothesize that the accumulations built up in Mittani times and the ceramics within came from deteriorating LC structures above.
