Stratigraphy
Phase 9s (stratum 00) collects those features that were excavating without differentiating the individual constituents, usually a series of natural accumulations in a removed baulk whose stratigraphy is has been well defined by the excavations on either side. The east baulk (f559) of k107 is an example.

Typology
The exavated soil is examined and ceramics and items are collected and analyzed typologically.
