Back to top: Emplacement for Unit J4 Ordered aggregation
Introduction
The ordered aggregation comprises the architecture and structures. Unit J4 is not rich from the architectural an structural point of view. and while it contains man made structures, they are very limited in number and function.

Walls
The 5 wall identified in J4 are small and in most cases consist of only a single row of stones or mudbricks.
1- f159, belonging to the Middle Mittani period, is an aggregation of stones alligned SW-NE. despite the irregular shape of the stones, their surface is flat.
2- f84, Single row of rectangular lime stones also belonging to the Middle Mittani period, running SW-NE. the stones are embedded into mud mortar with small stones between the joints.

3- wall 161 consists of two rows of baked bricks running EW. elow the two rows there appears to be more ricks, however, they are melted. Wall f162 is the eastern extent of wall f161 where the bricks are not well preserved.
both walls constitute a part of the bin installation a2, belonging to the re-building phase of the Middle Mittani period.

4- f170 consists of three row of mudbricks running SW-NE. The bricks are red and brown in color with a thick layer of mortar in between.

5-f10 is a large group of limestones located in the North-West portion of k71, running NW/SE. the wall consists of rectangular and irregular stone. The stones are embedded into mud mortar with small stones between the joints. This wall is a part of the revetment wall in J6 f218, and is the same as f219 of J6.

Glacis
5 features were identified as glacis layers only to discover upon further inestigation that we only have two. Glacis f127 is the same asf77 extending in two adjacent loci k72 and k82 and pertaining to the Mittani period.
Glacis f150, equal to f158 and f160, dating to the Akkadian period.
After some deliberations with pC about the identification of f121 as brickfall, pC pointed out out that in the light of the excavations of J6, f121 is part of Glasis 3 of J6 and not a brickfall.

Installations
The only complex installation in J4 is the bin installation f93 (the other two features that were identified in the record as installation are two stone installations f155 and f156, and they only consist of two or three adjacent stones that do not form any coherent allignement or exhibit any evidence o being connecte to a larger structure).
As for the bin installation f93, it is a semi cercular structure with brick walls and stone foundations and a peble floor. the in bonds to the north with f161 and f162.
The ambiguity of its function is related to the fact that it is empty.

Feature List
Most of the ordered constituents discussed in this section have been grouped in combinations called specific labels. It may nevertheless be constructive to list the contributing elements by definition:
