In A18 we have excavated so far only the upper strata, belonging to the second millennium. We found installations of the Temple service area from the Mittani period, and burials of the Khabur period, flanking a wide open area. The general area of the Palace that we expect to expose eventually is the central portion of the eastern sector of the Palace. |
