Description (summary) 2003-08-31 jl This is the large, bricky mass found at the bottom of the k3 baulk. It is red and gray in color, very compact and irregular in shape, and contains a lot of sherds and pottery inside. Its purpose is unknown, but since it runs underneath the k2 baulk, it will perhaps be clarified in later seasons. [Input: N831JL.j]
2004-07-25 jw A single course of reddish bricks, saved as a mound in the NE quadrant of k3. As seen in section, it is about 2 meters long, beginning in the north, rising slightly in the first 50cm, then descending as it ends in the south. [Input: O725JW.j]
