No items or structures leaned on another. Structures were free-standing and items were found imbedded in accumulations rather than intentionally placed on surfaces. |

Rests On

Twenty instances where one item rested on another were recorded. Most were stones that rested on artificial pillars formed when accumulations surrounding the stones were excavated and the stone left standing pending further evaluation.. The best example of "rests on" created in antiquity occurred when capstones f192 were placed atop wall f3 to raise its level above growing natural accumulations. |
