These bricks have no specific shape, appearing haphazardly oriented with no presence of mortar between the bricks. Underneath, in section view from A18, a tannur f100 lies underneath f68. The bricks are sitting on ash from f22 that spreads into k3 labeled as f36 in k3 with the bricks set in a pile perhaps serving as a retaining wall to keep the ash from reaching the eastern side.
