Description/Count
description (summary) 2008-8-16 lC Mud brick wall running north to south in k14. This wall is composed of small vertical bricks (about 5x32x30 cms). These bricks measure only 5 cms in thickness are slightly oblique. We are uncertain if f92 functioned as a wall or bench. It could be part of the eastern structure a2, also because its relationship with the other walls f106 and f97 is still to be clarified. Pavement f93 seems to continue underneath this wall. The construction of this wall differs in technique when compared to the other adjoining walls of a4, making this wall an anomaly possibly reflecting a different function. [Input File: S816lC.j]

Recovery/Assignment
daily notes 2008-8-09 lR A series of thin vertical bricks set at an oblique angle were found while excavating f87. The bricks are held together with thin mortar forming a wall west of a2, f40, and possibly forming a room bounded by f97 and f63. [Input File: S809lr.j]
2008-8-25 lC Today we removed the small portion of vertical bricks f143rpreted at the beginning as a wall parallel to the wall f92, constructed in the same technique. Below these bricks and the accumulation f140 we found more stones, but there isn't a clear link between the pavement f93 in k14 and the stone installation f141 in k13. It seems rather a quite irregular and non homogeneous structure. Between these new stones there is also a door socket, perhaps in situ, linked to a doorway, or in a secondary use inside the pavement. Then we remove part of f30 still covering the wall f41, looking for more bricks. [Input File: S825lC.j]
