Description | 2006-10-4 | lC | Ash accumulation found between ^es c1 and ^es c2 probably showing a short period of abandonment or less care about this area. This ash fills the erosion happened to the first escarpment during the EDIII. Then was covered by the huge filling belonging to the second escarpment. [Input file: V114LC.J / V114LC.-J] |
Argument | 2008-8-19 | rE | We assigned a new feature number to f241 which is the ash accumulation above the early escarpment f196, to be sure that the sherds are not mixed from the years before. [Input file: S813RE.J / S813RE.-J] |
Problems in recording | 2008-8-3 | rE | this is a compact ash accumulation covers f196, and it's the same as f195. [Input file: S720RE.J / S720RE.-J] |

Stratigraphic reasons | 2006-10-7 | mS | this accumulation is the same as f114 and f195 and seems to be the first accumulation against the wall above the escarpment, but it does seem to slope down with the escarpment. At this point it is unclear whether it is part of the packing or a later accumulation. We are assigning this to the earlier stratum because initial study of the pottery indicates very early although we don't have a large sample. [Input file: QX06MS1.J / QX06MS1.-J] |
Typological reasons | 2006-10-7 | mS | associated pottery seems to be late Chalcolithic. [Input file: QX06MS1.J / QX06MS1.-J] |
Other reasons | 2006-10-7 | mS | this assignment may change with more excavation in MZ20. [Input file: QX06MS1.J / QX06MS1.-J] |
I99.NTime | 2006-10-4 | lC | After MZ22 we assign this feature to a short period of abandonment between ^es c1 and ^es c2, both dating to EDIII. So we assign this ashy layer to s63- s63JPA. [Input file: V114LC.J / V114LC.-J] |
