Description/Count
Description 2009-8-17lC Pavement built of medium to small sized pebbles (4-12 cms) and many sherds, lying almost flat, embedded in a very compact brown soil. The pavement doesn't have an homogenous surface. In some areas it has many small sherds, in other many more pebbles. It is quite thick toward east and west with different layers of sherds and pebbles. Unlike the upper pavements this doesn't have so many bones. It is sloping slightly to the south. [Input file: T815LC.J / T815LC.-J]

Recovery/Assignment and the Record
Harmonization 2011-9-28lC To distinguish from a cronological point of view the two moments (EDIII construction/use and Mittani use) we created two features f900 (EDIII construction) and f901 (Mittani use) that were respectively assigned to s610 s610J1A and s190 s190J1A. The other records remain under f238, f240 and f325. [Input file: V928LC.J / V928LC.-J]
Problems in recording 2011-9-28lC This feature (as f238 and f240) was interpreted as the first Mittani pavement in the Plaza. Further analisys show the pavement was built in EDIII and used until Mittani period. The two different moments were excavated as a single one, so the pottery is mixed Mittani, EDIII and Ninevite 5 (coming from levels underneath). [Input file: V928LC.J / V928LC.-J]

2011-9-28lC After a review of the overall stratigraphy and a complete pottery analysis the pavement was dated to EDIII period. It was then used until Mittani period, For a more detailed explanation see topic "harmonization strata problems" and "thought about the Plaza". [Input file: V928LC.J / V928LC.-J]
