description (summary) 2005-8-29 jW Surface in k103 composed of a concrete-like matrix of gravel, sand, and grey ashy soil to a depth exceeding 15 cm. It was difficult to remove, even with the jackhammer and contained copious amounts of pottery compared to the layer above, f63. It marks the end point of excavations in this locus for the season.
