Introduction

The sections in A12 are dictated, of course by the shape of the ābi. There are sections of the brick walls and multiple layers of the underground structure. The sections are drawn before removal (in the case of the layers). The drawing process is in two phases; first a scaled pencil drawing is made in the field and secondly an inked drawing is made in the lab.

Although there are several rough drawings, there are not as many finished and some of those include here are pencil sketches. The drawings begin with w26.
