Remodel
After the construction and use of the palace walls and floors without structural changes a major renovation was undertaken in Phase 4m. Bricks from interior palace walls f550 and f563were removed down to the stone foundations and used in part to level the area once identified as room a59. New construction occurred to the south of the walls, including a platform in the form of an altar, f214,. Rooms along the south baulk were remodeled to support activities associated with the altar. Notably, this included a small room, a39, containing a large cache of intact ceramic vessels, a34.

Abandonment
After a period of use, this activity ceased and the entire interior, now open to the weather, began to fill with natural accumulation. See Phase 4r.
