As originally written, ^wall 2 was identical to ^wall 1, a rough Late Mittani stone wall that delimited the sacred space of the plaza associated with the rebuilt entrance to the BA temple. In fact it is the top of a line of large, high quality mud bricks that run north to south. We opt to identify this as a wall top because mudbricks exposed to the weather would not make a servicable floor. further excavation will be needed to resolve this issue. [Input: S903LH.j] |
