Text description of view | 2006-09-13 | eDB | This photograph documents a circular arrangement of four limestone blocks, f264, f265, f266, f267 which formed half of two concentric circles of stones. Their arrangement suggests that they were placed, but there was no evidence (such as burning) to identify their purpose. Four other stones, f248, f249, f255, and f256 were inadvertently removed prior to the photograph, but f255 and f256 do appear in plot p40. [Input: RX31JW.j] |
