This view was taken after the excavations in k1 and k2 of the second apron, f532, the revetment wall, f569, and the memory stones, f591, were complete. However, the N-S baulks forming the east and west sides of k1 and k2 were still in place. Approximately 50 cm of the south face of f569 was exposed in a narrow trench just to the south of the face. One can see three limestone blocks in the bottom of this trench, f575, f579, f585. There are a number of displaced limestone blocks (f509, f510, f520, f524, f525, f526, f527, f528, f529, f530, f543, f553, f561) laying atop the apron, memory stones, and the accumulations to the south of the revetment wall, suggesting that they were deposited after abandonment of this part of the temple mound complex.
