Introduction

Patrizia Camatta – September 2025

Site presentation has played a significant role in Tell Mozan since the beginning of excavations, alongside site preservation. One important aim of excavations in Tell Mozan was to present the site to scholars and visitors in order to help them understand its remains, as well as documenting and publishing the proper archaeological data.
Unit J6 can be seen from the Temple ‘Panorama’, which is located on an artificial knoll made from excavated soil in front of the monumental staircase. From here, visitors can see the Temple Terrace, the Temple itself, and the mountains in the background. The panels provide general information about Area J, including J6.
