The egg was found in hole. It was not open to the outside at the time of the excavation, but we can not be sure that a bird did not make that nest during the 4 years since MZ7 when the baulk in its current exposure was cut. The shell looked new but light enough to be fully dry. [Input: G716RK.J] |
