seated figure facing left with rays coming out of the shoulder. Woman facing right with crown with single pair of horns, her hair is turned up in the back and held in the middle, long dress with a prominent v-neck or a necklace of that shape. Left hand raised holding a cone shaped object, right arm lowered carrying a pail (see pail excavated from a grave in Urkesh, see British Museum No. 228), bearded man taller than the woman behind. He wears a rounded cap and patterned hair, unclear objects on his far side at waist level, one appears to be straight and the other curved. He is wearing a long skirt with a line of X-pattern decoration running down the front. He is balancing with both hands flattened a round object, perhaps a cup, above his hands is a crescent moon. This scene in all likelihood a presentation scene to the seated god Shamash. [Input: ZI827mKB.j] |
