	2001-08-25	jl	This ^a, underneath f368, seems to finally be stratified again. There is no more trace of plastic or other foreign material. It is dirty, in that it contains a lot of pottery, pieces of charcoal, kiln waste, broken bricks, large bones, and stones. It looks suspiciously like refuse, although there is not as much ash as one would expect. [Input: L825JL.j]
Notes on description	2002-09-09	ms	Upon discovery of a plastic bag and some styrofoam in this feature, gb has decided to make the outer 30 cms of any layer within the circle into a separate q-lot, to avoid contamination of the inner, presumably stratified material. [Input: M909JL.j]

In the north-west, we have detected a ring of gravel-like material, possibly the lowest level of the fissure observed so far. The soil continues to maintain its fill-like quality, including more large bones, ash, and possibly even pieces of unburnt wood included among the ash. [Input: L822JL.j]
