Loci
A total of 33 loci were excavated in A12. The original loci were square, but soon the loci were determined by the ābi as it was uncovered.

Sections
Seventeen sections were drawn over the course of the excavations and ?? templates were made.

Sketches
Sketches were made daily in a structured format to uniformly track excavation progress. They document the locations of features, q-lots, and items. 41 such sketches were made over the years while an additional ten mapped the stones and offered composites and projections.

Markers
A suveyor established accurate control points to define loci and to serve as refeence points for secondary position measuments of the location of constituents. Here one may find the surveyed coordinates of each.
