With some 775 cubic meters excavated, the J2 unit presents the largest exposure so far for any given unit at Mozan, after the Palace Courtyard.

It yelded the exposure of the monumental access to the Temple Terrace and reveald its use for more than 1500 years (form the EDII, about 2800 B.C. to the end of Mittani, about 1200 B.C.).
