Overview of J7 objects

October 2010 - C. Chaves Yates
The home for this page is J7

For a definition of the categories of object typology see the relevant chapter in the Grammar.

The objects in J7 are all from secondary contexts as the area was part of the open Plaza. The majority of the objects come from the brickfall layers which came down into J7 from the southeast. Most of the objects are small lithics and various clay artifacts (wheels, disks, figurines). The most notable object is the cylinder seal (q56.6) found during a cleaning operation.

Additional important categories are discussed separately as well:
     ceramics
     glyptics
     metals
