This view shows the E section of k70 (without the string used for the drawing of the section). This view shows well the topsoil layer and the natural accumulations (wind and waterborn sediments) below it. The section is cut, in its east extent, since this portion of the tell mound was investigated -in the 2001 excavation season- by a team of the university of Tubingen, directed by Prof. Peter Pfalzner; the missing portion of the locus falls within the cut of a German trench, T14.
