This chapter of the CAH [Cambridge Ancient History] (no. 21.4) is devoted to the situation of Syria during the Ur III period and its connections with Mesopotamia.
Mozan is quoted specifically on p. 565, where it is mentiond among the other sites of Upper Syria occupied by Hurrian people: Certain districts of Upper Syria were occupied, such as the town of Urkish, where reigned Tisari, author of one of the oldest Hurrian inscriptions, which may go back to the end of the Agade period.
