Small amounts of ash are present at a level of one brick layer underneath it. The material above to the E is very bricky. Nor orderly layout of brick now discernible. Workmen to the N of this (2/3 of the E terrace) report no brick layer that they have removed. None is observable even though the levels are the same as in the S 1/3.
