human adult burial in NE corner of k218. No evidence of grave cut from above. Occurs in f111 as was a12. Only the lower extremity bones have been exposed. The rest are expected to be in the E and N baulks. No intact pottery seen in the portion of the burial so far exposed. No evident brickwork. Several bricks seen in locus at this level are quite removed from the skeleton--along the N baulk about midway, at the edge of the former terrace are 2 bricks; hard ac with thin red layyer on top in the middle (NS) on the terrace.
