The J6 digital book, along with A16, J1, J2, J3, J4, J5 and J7, was chosen to be published immediately after the excavation season of 2009. We worked on the UGR in seasons 2008 and 2009 to accomplish this aim and by 2010, the right-hand side of digital J6 book was in a beta version, with most of the data published. However, the beta version displayed a number of errors and the pottery analysis was incomplte. In 2010 and 2011 I started to work on some pages of the synthetic view, on the left hand side. The work on the UGR was interrupted by myself for over ten years, but I was able to resume work on J6 in 2024. I was able to resolve many errors, and Laerke Recht completed the pottery analysis. During wartime, documentation on ceramics in Tell Mozan never stopped and after the complete analyze of the pottery, many chronological issues could be fixed.
Resuming the study of J6 after so many years was surprising because, with hindsight, it was possible to understand some issues relating to the stratigraphy, chronology and function of this particular area.
