Introduction

The accumulations and other accretions of J7 are primarily naturally deposited as a result of water, wind and other natural processes. The area of J7 was an open area and part of the Plaza. Because the space was open accumulations could build up with little impediment. In some places there is an accumulation of stones or sherds that may be the result of water other natural forces.

Accumulations

Majority of the accumulations in J7 are natural accumulations (Accumulation Type D). These accumulations occur after the brickfall has filled the area and it is no longer in use.
