Introduction

The main form of disaggregation in J7 is the large brickfall. It covers all the loci in J7 and extends across J6 and J2 as well.

Brickfall

The brickfall in J7 is composed of red and gray bricks and filled with ceramic and other cultural materials. The upper levels of the brickfall are more eroded, forming a “brick crumble” on the surface of the brickfall. This indicates the brickfall was exposed for some time before it was covered by the accumulations.
