Iconographic description, specific | 2001-09-15 | MKB | The female figure is wearing a wide brim hat which is turned up at the front, one round applied eye is preserved. The nose is large and rectangular in shape; no mouth is present. Her neck is long with sloping shoulders below, her upper arms only are preserved but her hands are cupped beneath her applied breasts. At her waist is a painted belt; her pubic triangle is also painted. The legs and feet are together but with a deep crack separating the legs both in the front and the back. This separation goes completely through the figure leaving a small hallow space at the base of the pubic triangle. The feet project with the line of the toes indicated both in the front and on the bottom of the feet. [Input: L915mkb4.j] |
