Description (summary) 2001-07-21 sb new feature, as accumulation below f26 (floor). [Input: L818okk.j]
2001-09-05 okk accumulation below floor f26 in k1, but covering the whole square. This accumulation consisted of light grey compacted earth with a large quantity of sherds and bones. Most of the sherds were laying flat, which suggests that this is a floor accumulation. It seemed likely that in this area there might be a few beaten earth floors that were then re-surfaced as accumulation built up. f107 appears to be one of these intermediate floors that were of the same use period as f26. In the western half of k1 floor f26 was not visible, but may originally have extended further to the west. In the NW quadrant of k1 hearth a3 was cut into f107, f107 apparently being the ground level. After excavating about 5-10 cm pieces of floor f117 and f118 were found. [Input: L905okk3.j]
