Description/Count
Description 2005-9-3sC Contains carbonized barley seeds.
2005-9-7aA f229 has assigned to the fill of pit f298. The soil is very soft in consistence, clayish (due to the presence of melted bricks) and, because of the presence of bricky debris, is crumble in texture; the fill also includes lots of little stones and some ashes and burnt barely seeds.

Recovery/Assignment and the Record
Accident 2005-9-7aA The bottom of the pit does not correspond to the real bottom of the feature, because the workmen over-excavated it; for this reason we found, within the fill of the pit, a thick layer of ash containing lots of burnt barely seeds (which we collected in order to be analyzed); this layer has been lately exposed in the whole square ( k4).
