Overview

Phase 7v is characterized by the build-up of natural accumulations on top of the brickfall. These layers are fairly uniform with no structures or installations.

Stratigraphy

The J7 loci were all excavated volumetrically, meaning that they were excavated in features of 50cm depth. Because of this excavation strategy the individual deposits of the accumulations were not recorded as separate features, however, the deposits proved to be fairly uniform and without structures or installations.

Objects

Typologically the finds from this layer are mixed and include typical types from the site including lithics, animal figurines and clay objects. Additionally, an iron dirk (q45.3) was found, indicating the mixed nature of these layers.
