Introduction

The type of contact “to cover or overlay” constitutes a significant proportion in Room A6, accounting for approximately 38% of the total. Coverings and superimposed layers appear as accumulations that overlap one another, while some cover walls and surfaces or interpenetrate with them.

Covers

Covers represent about 16% of the cases. The clearest example in A6 is the topsoil layer f301, which covers accumulation f302, which in turn overlays wall f303.

Overlays

Overlays account for approximately 22% of the cases. Prominent examples include walls f194 and f195, which interpenetrate with the lower wall f200, representing the southern wall of Room D1.
