Conservation laboratory activities for Unit A6

    Types that were worthy of preservation or had an important museographic value were taken to the conservation lab to be supervised by experts, where the types were cleaned of dirt or oxidation, as is the case with metals, studied, and then sent to the museum. As for the potteries, they were cleaned, painted, and analyzed, and some of them were restored the potteries that could be restored, the intact ones were taken to the museum, while the sherds were taken to the Expedition House. As for the seal impressions, they needed great attention by being left to dry and then cleaned and conducting the necessary study and analysis before being transferred to the museum. The Figurines were mostly intact and therefore only needed cleaning or some needed restoration, where they were restored and sent to the museum. All the artifacts were transferred to the Deir ez-Zor Museum.
