Overview of J4 Objects

The objects of J4 are considered few in numbers, and yet they offer a variety of types and manufacturing materials. There are 99 q-items and only 6 items. The majority of the artifacts are made with ckay or lithic. Other materials (shells and metal) constitute a very small percentage in comparisom with the main dominant materials.
The clay artifact include fragments of wheels, a token, kiln waste and clay lumps with no impressions on them. The lithic artifacts constitute a large collection of stone tools such as grinding stones, or fragments of blades and flints, in addition to a few fragments off door sockets.
A number of figurines were found in J4, 12 animal figurines (incomplete) and fragments of 3 human figurines.
The metal finds include a bracelete, a nail and projectile.
Of the most interesting finds in J4 are 2 impressed seal impression, a clay palque depicting a scene and the complete skeleton of a salouki dog.
Other categories of finds include beads (2) and a fragment of what appears to be a mold for metal forging and a weight.
