| 2004-08-01 | jw | Feature in the NE quadrant of k13, described as a gray soil (ad) and a component of a walled structure (tannur), a11, extending into k3 and k12 in MZ16. In the east and north sections, it clearly appears as the fill of a large pit. jw speculates that what appeared as a tannur may have been the hardened outer edge of the pit, a situation similar to that seen when excavating the fill, f203, from a very large Phase 4 pit in the SW corner of k4.
