Brief Overview

The definition of what is a pot is the same for all units and all time periods in the UGR. See https://urkesh.org/mz/a/ceramics/texts/a2/shapes-main.htm. The most important context so far in Urkesh for the Akkadian period is the royal palace of Tupkish with its two courtyards and various rooms investigated by us, see BM 30.

There were few pots from excavated Akkadian contexts, especially the palace. However one pot shape did occur for cooking vessels, especially those with two handles attached to the rim, see here.
