Introduction

Very few metal objects have been found in J4, and the ones that were found are obviously in a secondary context because they all come from accumulation layers or brick fall. This very small collection (6 objects) consists mostly of weapons (lanceolate) one nail and one jewelry item (half of a bracelet) pertaining mostly to Mittani horizon. The fact that there are very few metal artifacts retrieved from J4 is consistent with the nature of J4 where it is not expected to find such items usually associated with a metal workshop or a domestic setting or even a dumping site.
