Stratigraphy
Phase 8r is a collection of small installations relatively close to the modern surface of the tell whose most liberal inpretation can be associated with short-term occupation of the site. It includes a wall-like line of stones (f144 and f148, and a simple entrance (f145) to a plaster floor (f143). Stratigraphically, their elevation relative to features in Phase 8m places these features in the Middle Assyrian horizon, but they may be later.
