Stratigraphy

The most significant factor in Phase 8m (Stratum 70) is evidence of a limited Middle Assyrian presence. Structural evidence includes two lines of stones just under the surface (f28, f71) connected by a threshold (f163).

Several layers of accumulations above Mittani layers along the north side of the unit contain ceramics clearly datable to the Middle Assyrian period.

Typology

Ceramics and items from the next layers are fully analyzed and cataloged. Items are ubiquitous.
